These days, EDM rules in the clubs–such as Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s mur.mur—but that doesn’t mean there’s not some room for a little diversity. EDM comes with its own genres including progressive house, electro house and trance. So it’s nice when a DJ comes along who is a veteran master of spinning all of…

Of all Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s resident DJs, few get as much discussion as Samantha Ronson, who returns to spin at mur.mur November 7. There’s her famous family, with her stepdad, Foreigner guitarist, Mick Jones, her brother and fellow musician Mark Ronson and her twin sister and fashion designer Charlotte Ronson. Though one of…
There was a time when Labor Day Weekend was kind of a bittersweet holiday here in Atlantic City. Sure, as a beach resort we partied hard at the unofficial end of the summer, but it was also the end of the season and things we’re about to quiet down until spring.
Well, that quieting down part is long gone and we at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa go full blast 24/7, 365 days a year. But we still love to party on Labor Day Weekend.
So that’s just sweet, no bitter.
To celebrate the end of summer, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has put together a line-up like no other on the Jersey Shore for this Labor Day Weekend. From casino promotions to concerts and shows to the best nightclub action anywhere, we’ve got the perfect holiday celebration to see out a long summer season.

Not a chance.
“We’re just wild and a lot of fun,” explains Lee to ballerstatus.com. “It’s all about energy. I guess ’cause we’re girls people, at first, think, ‘Oh their set is probably girly.’ But, we’re far from that (laughs).”
Ok sure, Lee has done some modeling for Maxim and other magazines and appeared in small roles in films like “Hangover 2.” They’re both alluring, beautiful women. But together they’re DJ KIM Kat and they’ll play mur.mur tonight with Borgata House DJ PS1.
The bond between them is based on a shared passion for music, they explain.
“Kat and I been friends for over 10 years now,” Lee says. “We used to do music videos back then and we met on her second day in LA. She’s got this cool vibe about her and she hustles like me. We both share the same vision with work.”
Since meeting in 2007, DJ KIM KAT have toured across the United States from Scottsdale to New York and internationally from Korea to Vietnam, captivating crowds with their unique electro sets. Infusing EDM, Hip-Hop, Trance, and Top 40, DJ KIM KAT grace any venue that they play at with unrivaled energy and compelling music selection, not to mention a pretty good aesthetic.
Currently, DJ KIM KAT is working on their debut album, but until then, they say they can always be found doing what they excel at—delivering sets to fans across the globe.
“We usually go back to back or I would MC while she’s deejaying,” Lee says. “We just freestyle it and we always get our fans involved at our shows. There’s definitely a lot of alcohol at our shows (laughs), but it’s all fun.”
But then you knew that.
For us here in Atlantic City, however, it’s so much more. Summer is everything in these parts—the start of a three-month party of sun, surf, great music, great food and just constant entertainment.
Of course, we do party 365 days a year at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, but when summer comes, well, we really party. And forget about June 21, summer starts this weekend at Borgata and we’ve got the line-up to welcome the season like it’s never been welcomed before.

Our friends at Atlantic City Weekly hit on a great idea about seven years ago when they came up with the idea for the AC Weekly Nightlife Awards. Not only did they honor all of the great nightlife in Atlantic City, they went to the true experts to figure out which clubs and casinos should be singled out each year.
Those experts were their readers, which is basically you, the beautiful people that make the Atlantic City scene happen.
As you might expect, Borgata Nightlife has had a pretty healthy representation in the awards through the years (Thanks to your votes) and this year, 2015, we’re positively swooning over the love you’ve shown to MIXX, one of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s premiere nightclubs and party spots.
MIXX took first place honors in eight different categories.
Borgata Nightlife is famous for its ability to turn any weekend into a three-day weekend. So when you actually have a three-day holiday weekend—as we do with Martin Luther King Day on January 19, this Monday—you can expect even more.
Check this out.
PS1 at mur.mur. Friday, January 16.
D-Nice at mur.mur. Saturday, January 17.
DJ Mustard at MIXX Saturday, January 17.
Aren’t they great?
There’s a reason Monday’s are immortalized in song—“Rainy Days and Mondays Always Get Me Down,” (The Carpenters) “I Don’t Like Mondays,” (Boomtown Rats), “Blue Monday” (Fats Domino).
Yes, clubbing on a Monday. Think of it as a permanent three-day weekend at Borgata.
Throw in Izakaya Mondays at Borgata’s modern Japanese pub with a menu from sushi to sake from Borgata chef Michael Schulson.
So Mondays don’t have to be that bad. Not if you make Borgata Nightlife a part of the start to your week.
Now Tuesdays …
Now for those people out there who are good at planning—you know the kind of people who made reservations for a Time’s Square hotel six years ago—that’s no big deal.
But for everybody else, it’s time to panic. Where do we go? Where’s the best party?
One answer—Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
Even the plan aheaders (those who plan ahead?) know that. Just check out this New Year’s lineup at Borgata.

For a lot of people, that means panic time. Where should we go? Where’s the best party? Where will we get the kind of New Year’s Eve action that we’ll truly remember?
The answers? Borgata, Borgata and … Borgata.
This New Year’s Eve, which just happens to be a nice mid-week Wednesday night, Borgata Nightlife has lined up several days of parties at our signature bars and nightclubs—enough to turn a mid-week break into a full-on week-long party.
It starts Sunday, December 28, with Dutch DJ and record producer Tiesto playing a full-on show in the Borgata Event Center, with an opening set from Moti. Here’s a full rundown on the show. Tickets are $79.50 to $89.50 and available here.
On Monday, December 29, check out the Industry NYE party with Lil Jon at mur.mur, part of mur.mur Mondays as the rapper/record producer brings the crunk to the best industry party in A.C. Tickets are $30.
