Congratulations to Greg Halka, Catering/Convention Services Manager at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, for being named Convention Services Manager of the Year by Successful Meetings!
Greg began working for Borgata as a Valet Shift Manager when Borgata first opened in 2003. Since then he has worked his way up to Front Desk Shift Manager, then Banquet Supervisor, and finally Catering Manager before being promoted to Catering/Convention Services Manager.
“I have to say that working in those departments and building those lasting relationships has been a great resource for me as a CSM,” says Greg.
This award reflects Greg’s hard work and dedication to Borgata over the past eleven years. “He ran errands for us after he was done with work, and came in the next day with everything we needed,” commented Abby Kahn, Global Event Manager of New York-based Numerix. “He goes above and beyond what I would expect a CSM to do.”
