Bounty tournaments put a cash amount on every player—the bounty—which is collected when a player is knocked out of the tournament by another player.
The Borgata Poker Room and bounty tournaments just go together.
Every Tuesday and Thursday—starting Tuesday March 18—BorgataPoker.com will offer up New Jersey’s first online bounty tournaments at 8 pm.
For a $20 buy-in, players will have a shot at a $9 bounty every time they send a player to the rail. Well, the virtual rail. In other words, if you knock out a player during the regular tournament play, you get $9 in cash. If they knock you out, well, they get your $9.
You can rack up as many bounties as you can no matter where you eventually end up in the tournament. The tournament, of course, pays out like any other tournament and you can collect both ways.
But it gets better. BorgataPoker.com will keep track of all player’s bounty collecting ability on a special Bounty Hunt Leaderboard. The board will be updated on Wednesdays and Fridays.
At the end of the month, the BorgataPoker.com grinder with the most bounties collected will win $500. So you basically can get paid for getting paid bounties.
In the event of a leaderboard tie, the top players will get to duke it out in a private sit and go for the prize money.
Again, BorgataPoker.com’s Bounty Hunter Tournament costs $20 to enter. The buy-in is split in two:
1) $9 goes to the prize pool
2) $9 is tied to every player
You can win for finishing high in the tournament, win by taking bounties and win for taking the most bounties in the month.
Finding more ways for you to win. That’s BorgataPoker.com.
