Borgata Deep Stacks Challenge July 7-20

Borgata poker players have been left with an interesting choice since BorgataPoker.com went live last November.

Do I get dressed, hit the Borgata Poker Room and stare down the guys I’m going to be winning from? Or, do I just relax at home, order in some pizza and play online all night and stare down some avatars?

Well, here’s a chance at the best of both Borgata poker worlds. Introducing the Borgata Poker Deep Stacks Challenge, which combines live play in the Borgata Poker Room with online play at BorgataPoker.com.

Borgata is also bringing back the Leaderboard Promotion, new and improved. Players have a shot at a free $3,500 value seat to the Borgata Poker Open Championship in September to the leaderboard winner. The series includes 14 different tournaments from July 7 to July 20.

The first six tournaments (July 7 to July 12) will be live tournaments in the Borgata Poker Room. The remaining eight tournaments (July 13 to July 20) will be found online at BorgataPoker.com.

You want to score points by entering as many tournaments as you want, both in the live tournaments and online. Leaderboard positions are based on the number of events you enter, the event prize pool, and where you place. Here’s a look at the points formula for the leaderboard.

As Deep Stack events, the tournaments carry different chip counts to start. That includes deep (25,000 chips), deeper (35,000 chips) and deepest (40,000) chips. Event buy-ins range from $350 to $150 for the live events and $185 to $45 for online events. Here’s the full schedule and structures.

At stake are some amazing prizes including the seat to the Borgata Poker Open Championship and other Borgata Poker Open events as well as Borgata Gift Cards.
