Borgata is extremely proud to share that we received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation – America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender equality. Borgata’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria results in an esteemed “B
est Places to Work for LGBT Equality” recognition that honors our commitment to support diversity and provide equal employment for all team members.
The 2016 CEI rated 1,027 businesses in the report, which evaluated LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. Borgata joins the ranks of 407 major U.S. businesses which also earned top marks this year. By inspiring and engaging all Americans, HRC strives to end discrimination against LGBT citizens and realize a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all. We couldn’t be more proud that in addition to successful partnerships with the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance and the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association, we are now honored with the HRC’s “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality” recognition.
