In the wake of the recent tragic events in Orlando, Atlantic City’s GLBT Alliance held an oceanside vigil on Monday, June 20th to honor the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting. On hand were a variety of local interfaith clergy, AC GLBTA’s President Rich Helfant, Atlantic City’s Mayor Don Guardian, Borgata’s Senior Vice President Joe Lupo, Philadelphia Gay News publisher Mark Segal, and board members from the AC GLBTA. Guests were greeted with a free rainbow flag and bottled water, and took part in a ocean wreath ceremony. We were on hand to take part in the event.
