Fourth of July Weekend is one of the biggest weekends of the year in Atlantic City and at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, and that means we do it up right. We’ve put together an amazing line-up of events, concerts, shows and excitement fit for a shore blow out in honor of our nation’s birthday.
And, of course, that means fireworks as Atlantic City is putting on two fireworks programs for the weekend this year, First up is a beach and boardwalk show July 3, then on July 4th, the fireworks spectacle will be held in Atlantic City’s Marina District, which makes Borgata the best place to view the show in the resort.
Each show will be 15 minutes long and will be choreographed to music. The shows will begin with a reading of the Declaration of Independence and will include other famous quotes from notable Americans, followed by popular celebratory music by artists performing in Atlantic City. Ending with the patriotic finale of “Stars and Stripes Forever” the John Phillip Souza march.
These unique and brilliant fireworks shows are being created by one of the country’s largest fireworks companies, Pyro Spectaculars by Souza, the presenter of pyrotechnic displays and shows around the world including the Macy’s 4th of July Spectacular in New York City.
At Borgata, our public viewing areas open at 6pm, July 4th and will feature a WAYV remote broadcast with games and contests throughout. The fireworks show goes off at 9:30pm Monday, July 4. The public viewing area is located at our surface parking lot and surrounding areas outside the North Entrance.
We’re also offering VIP areas for invitees, but even better, Fourth of July Weekend coincides with the opening of our new outdoor Borgata Beer Garden, which may be the best place yet to watch the fireworks. The Borgata Beer Garden features a full-service canopied bar serving more than 15 domestic and craft beers along with mouth-watering bar snacks and bites.
The Beer Garden will also feature live music on Fridays through Sundays, with a special July 4th line-up from 3pm until 11pm. Hawkins Cove will play from 3pm – 6:30pm and Sidearm will play from 7pm – 11pm. Before the fireworks, admission is $10, but free after the display.
The July 4th fireworks show caps a host of events scheduled for the weekend at Borgata.
Other highlights include:
The Hollywood Vampires at the Borgata Event Center July 3.
The opening of the new Marketplace Eatery at Borgata.
