The Saturday Series Deep Stack NLH event, which carries a $100,000 guarantee on total buy-ins, it a very popular event and this year it is also a charity event sponsored by Cabot Creamery. Each entry will include a $10 donation to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Southern Branch.
“The 1,100 farm families who own Cabot Creamery Co-operative are proud to once again present the “Put a Bad Beat On Hunger” poker tournament at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. This is our 9th Annual event and we’re proud to say that Cabot and Borgata have helped raise more than $350,000 for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey – Southern Branch. Thanks to the Food Bank’s buying power, they are able to purchase $10 worth of food for every dollar raised. So the Put A Bad Beat On Hunger is truly having an impact on helping to end hunger and poverty throughout the South Jersey region. Sadly, the need is still great so we encourage everyone to join in the fun and excitement at the Bad Beat and help raise money for this worthy endeavor.”
