Grand Opening of Angeline by Michael Symon: On May 6, Michael Symon‘s newest restaurant, Angeline, opened it’s doors at Borgata. Named after his mother Angel, the newest addition to Borgata’s all-star dining lineup features classic Italian-American dishes in a welcoming setting. Angeline taps into Symon’s Sicilian roots with a menu of simple, bold recipes classically crafted with fresh ingredients and prideful attention to detail. Every dish is inspired by the James Beard Award winner’s heritage and personal history.
Borgata Welcomes Marcus Glover: MGM Resorts appointed Marcus Glover as Borgata‘s President and Chief Operating Officer. Glover joined MGM in 2015 as as General Manager and then President and Chief Operating Officer of Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. “Marcus’ proven leadership ability and wide range of skills will continue to serve the company well as he assumes this new role,” said Corey Sanders, chief operating officer of MGM Resorts.
Savor Borgata: Savor Borgata celebrated 10 years in 2017, and The Ultimate Food Experience at the Event Center was the ideal anniversary party for such a beloved event. Dozens of specially-created food trucks and culinary stations served over 1,000 guests throughout the evening, featuring everything from sushi hand rolls to apple pound cake and everything in-between. In addition to the amazing food and drink, there was plenty of live music, a Cirque-inspired silks routine, fortune tellers, portrait artists, and more, not to mention Borgata’s entire roster of celebrity chefs were in the house.
Borgata’s New Central Conference Center: Imagine a state-of-the-art, impeccably designed conference space right in the middle of the East Coast’s premiere entertainment destination. Borgata’s Central Conference Center is exactly the place to make your next meeting, event, or function the talk of the town…and the envy of everyone who doesn’t attend! The $11 million venue adds 18,000-square feet of meeting space to Borgata’s portfolio of one-of-a-kind convention and event spaces.
Borgata’s All-Star Entertainment Line-Up: 2017 brought some of the biggest headliners to Borgata’s event venues. Our guests enjoyed shows from Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, OneRepublic, Sting, The Killers, Mary J Blige, Rob Thomas, and Sebastian Maniscalco, with so much more to come in 2018!
Premier Nightclub’s 1st Birthday Celebration: In a short period of time, Premier Nightclub has made a lasting impression on Atlantic City by igniting a rebirth in the nightlife and entertainment scene. The $14 million club celebrated its 1st birthday on Memorial Day weekend with a lineup of A-list deejays. Within the walls of the two-story venue, there’s an electric feeling of excitement that can only be compared to world-renowned hot spots in New York, Miami and Las Vegas.
Miss’d America 2017: A not-to-be-missed entertainment event, the Miss’d America Pageant started in 1994 at a local Atlantic City club and was created as a spoof of the world-famous Miss America Pageant to raise funds for a local charity. This year’s festivities, which took place on October 7, featured Miss’d America 2017 Mimi Imfurst, the Miss’d America Dancers, the Melanie Rice Orchestra, special musical guest Frankie Z, and the one and only Carson Kressley.
