On Tuesday, April 10th, Borgata President and Chief Operating Officer, Marcus Glover and Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Atlantic County, Amanda McGowan cut the ribbon of a freshly refurbished home, right in Atlantic City, for a deserving Habitat for Humanity family. From demo work to spackling, sanding, painting, floor installation, heavy cleaning, trim work, plumbing, and electrical repairs, Borgata team members worked tirelessly in support of the Habitat home, which is now complete and ready to be occupied.
Borgata was thrilled to partner with Habitat for Humanity Atlantic County, forwarding their mission of bringing people together to build homes, community, and hope. Through Borgata’s partnership, the group enabled $10,000 of necessary repairs to rehabilitate the Atlantic City home, completed by the support of Borgata volunteers.
As part of its efforts to positively impact the community, Borgata’s team members have donated countless hours in a multitude of service activities across the Greater Atlantic City region, and this project was no exception. Borgata believes community investment is central to social responsibly.
