Spice up your New Year’s Eve celebration with a festive take on a champagne cocktail. Our Holiday Jewel cocktail was featured in last year’s “Bubbles Champagne Event” during our annual Savor Borgata celebration, and is the perfect way to twist up your year end toast. Featuring maple syrup and orange bitters, your guests will be pleasantly surprised with this sweet way to ring in the new year.
The Holiday Jewel:
1 ounce of pure maple syrup (1 ounce = 2 tbsp)
2-3 dashes of orange bitters
4 ounces of Champagne
This can certainly be made in a champagne flute, but we recommend a rocks glass so that the welcoming aromas can be enjoyed to the fullest.
Pour the maple syrup into a rocks glass. Add the bitters and stir gently. Pour in the Champagne. Add ice, rosemary spring and orange zest. Enjoy!
