Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will present Savor Borgata Weekend on Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9, featuring a variety of events leading up to Savor Borgata – The Ultimate Food Experience, a unique food festival taking place on Saturday evening highlighting Borgata’s Master Chefs. The weekend will showcase new venues such as Moneyline Bar & Book and Level One Cocktail Bar & Lounge while offering exclusive dining and cooking experiences with Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s roster of celebrity chefs.

A place to eat, drink and mingle with Borgata’s star-studded chefs, The Ultimate Food Experience is a one-of-a-kind food festival celebrating Borgata’s Master Chefs and the property’s diverse culinary offerings. Enjoy live music at The Event Center amongst celebrity chefs Geoffrey Zakarian (The Water Club at Borgata), Michael Symon (Angeline), Michael Schulson (Izakaya by Michael Schulson), Bobby Flay (Bobby Flay Steak), Wolfgang Puck (Wolfgang Puck American Grille), Greg and Marc Sherry (Old Homestead Steak House), Executive Chefs Tom Biglan (Borgata) and Thaddeus DuBois (Borgata Pastry) and special guest, Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, Food Network Iron Chef and Executive Chef of Butter Midtown in New York City.

“Borgata’s 12th annual Savor Borgata is back this fall with 22 creative culinary experiences featuring our star-studded roster of chefs,” said Becky Schultz, Vice President of Food & Beverage for Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. “Along with exclusive pop-up experiences only available for this festival and hands-on cooking lessons from the best in the business, guests will have an opportunity to mix and mingle with Borgata’s A-List culinary roster in both intimate and expansive settings throughout the weekend.”

Borgata will present a variety of signature culinary events throughout the weekend that will celebrate the individual talent of each participating chef. On Friday, Savor Borgata Weekend will kick-off with “Margarita Madness,” featuring Olmeca Altos Tequila served with savory bites. Then, for one night only, Wolfgang Puck American Grille will celebrate the dishes that made its flagship restaurant, Spago, an epicurean destination at the “Spago Pop-Up” event. Sports fans are encouraged to attend “Moneyline Meatball Mayhem” at the new Moneyline Bar & Book for expertly created meatballs paired with draft beer. On the same evening, fans of Chef Michael Schulson will be able to indulge in the flavors of all of his acclaimed concepts under one roof at a brand-new program “The Schulson Collection.” Then, join Old Homestead restaurateurs Greg and Marc Sherry for an intimate dinner, “Old Homestead Caymus Vineyards Wine Dinner,” prepared by Executive Restaurant Chef Amador Campos, paired with the Caymus family of wines. Lastly, cap off the night at “Liquid Gold,” at the all new Level One Cocktail Bar & Lounge. The evening will include a special tasting of Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve.

On Saturday morning, learn how you can use every day foods in your kitchen to create a spa day at home, while indulging in light brunch bites, during “Pantry Pampered Food Facials at Immersion Pool.” Afterwards, tap into your inner artiste with a little help from Chateau d’Esclans wines, home of Whispering Angel Rosé, at “Through  Rosé Colored Glasses.” Then, enjoy a 3-course lunch paired with Melville Winery wines with Iron Chef Bobby Flay in an intimate setting at “Lunch with Bobby.” Over at Angeline, visitors can opt to sip on wine and taste savory bites as they learn how to make homemade pasta in this hands-on, interactive class with Iron Chef Michael Symon during “Symon Says…Pasta!” Later in the afternoon, special Savor Borgata guest and acclaimed executive chef, Alex Guarnaschelli will show customers how to create several of her favorite festive dishes paired with wines in “Holiday Lunch & Learn with Alex Guarnaschelli.”

Also on Saturday, Borgata will host a series of intimate classes and engaging cooking demonstrations, starting with “In the Kitchen with Executive Chef Tom Biglan” and later a hands-on experience led by Borgata’s Executive Pastry Chef Thaddeus DuBois – former Pastry Chef for The White House – called “Magic of Marzipan.” Just a few steps away, Chef Brian Perry prepares delicious gluten-free bites paired with Tito’s Handmade Gluten Free Vodka cocktails at Long Bar’s “Tito’s Toasts Gluten-Free.” Meanwhile at “Bubble it Up,” learn the basics of cocktail construction with an added element of sparkle from Domaine Chandon, and then create one of your own!

Savor Borgata Restaurant Week will return beginning Sunday, November 3 through Thursday,  November 7. Throughout the week, Borgata will offer $39 three-course prix fixe menus at Angeline by Michael Symon, Wolfgang Puck American Grille and Izakaya Modern Japanese Pub, as well as $65 three-course prix fixe menus at Bobby Flay Steak and Old Homestead Steak House. The Metropolitan and Noodles of the World (N.O.W.) will offer $19 prix fixe lunch menus as well.

Tickets for all Savor Borgata Weekend events may be purchased at www.theborgata.com or by calling 1.866.900.4TIX (4849).
