Savor flavors from coast-to-coast with ceviche and crudo prepared by Wolfgang Puck American Grille’s Executive Chef Aram Mardigian during Savor Borgata. This intimate tasting event, titled Cocktails, Crudo, and Ceviche, will take place on Saturday, November 9 at 1:30PM, and will feature a three-course tasting of fresh seafood in old world preparations that will excite the senses. Guest will also be able to sip on paired cocktail creations by General Manager Anthony Santiago.
To start, Chef Aram will prepare Oysters with mignonette and Scallop Crudo served with a Dragon Fruit Ponzu. The cocktail pairing is a Xicano Cup, a combination of Japanese cucumber infused Anejo Tequila, Leblon Cachaca, Pimms No1, tamarind syrup, lemon juice, and prosecco. The second course is a Lobster & Crab Ceviche, served Peruvian style and Tuna Sopes with tomatillo salsa. For this course, enjoy a Pisco Pasión: cherry infused pisco, chartreuse, lime juice, passion fruit, and egg white.
Finally, guests will enjoy a smoked Toro Pastrami, served with miso mustard, and Steak Tartare with Parmesan Reggiano and dijon. The cocktail is a Sting & Smoke, a delicious combination of Hendricks Gin, Lapsang Souchong, licorice infused honey syrup, lemon juice, and lavender water.
