If you miss the delicious dishes at Borgata’s Wolfgang Puck American Grille, legendary chef/partner Wolfgang Puck is here to deliver a little taste of his signature restaurant for you at home. In the video below, Wolfgang explains how to make an easy at-home mushroom risotto using basic ingredients and items you can find at the grocery store.
Here’s some inside tips that you’ll learn about the dish:
- If you don’t like mushrooms, or don’t have them, you can make the dish with chicken, other vegetables, or seafood.
- Use some sort of flavored stock— Wolfgang uses mushroom, but you can use vegetable stock or chicken stock. Don’t use water!
- Avoid browning rice by continually stirring it. Make sure you stand next to it the entire time.
- Add your stock a little at a time. It takes about 20 minutes to cook.
Don’t forget to welcome our other chef partners into your home too! Izakaya’s Michael Schulson showed us how to make his signature Robatayaki dish here and Bobby Flay gave us a tutorial of how to cook a perfect steak here, using techniques from his restaurant Bobby Flay Steak.
