If you’re looking for an ideal place to snap a memorable Borgata photo, visit the newly constructed floral display, located in the Retail Piazza. Called “A Perfect Day in the Park,” the colorful feature is a representation of the transition between spring and summer, full with beautiful weather, variegated foliage, and an abundance of colorful blooms.
The logistical coordination and the building of the display took two weeks, and the installation, created by Atlantic City Flower Show LLC, took about 12 hours to complete with an 8-person crew. You’ll be able to visit it now until the end of June.
Fun Facts About “A Perfect Day in the Park”
There are 12 types of flowers in the display, including Peace lilies, Impatiens, Rieger Begonias, Calandivas, Gerbera Daisies, Kalanchoes, purple and white Mums, mini Bromeliads, Violets, Hibiscus, Golden Mini Crotons, and Mandevillas.
- The display also features 5 different types of plants, including Boston Ferns, Upright Ferns, Ruffled Ferns, Canary Ivys, and Wandering Jew hanging baskets.
- Other aspects of the display include Northern European Birchwood, which was used in the construction of the vertical gardens. There’s also a wide variety of moss used, including Spanish Moss, Reindeer Moss, and Sheet Moss.
- In total, there are 600-800 plants and flowers used to create the display.
