It’s been another wonderful summer season at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and we’re ready to keep the party going through Labor Day Weekend.
And we do mean party as we’ve lined up one of the best entertainment weekends you’ll see at any time of year.
It starts Friday, August 29 with Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue bringing in the funk at the Borgata Music Box at 9pm. Tickets available here.
Saturday, rockers Train come into the Borgata Event Center (tickets available here) while comedian Demetri Martin plays the Music Box. Tickets.
Most of Borgata Nightlife’s resident DJ’s are in demand, but how many can claim to be the most sought after DJ in the world?
One—DJ Ruckus.
Well, at least according to GQ, which dubbed him “the most sought after DJ in the world” and it’s pretty easy to see why. DJ Ruckus plays more than 180 shows a year, is a resident DJ in nightclubs around the country including exclusive destinations in New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Atlantic City (at MIXX at Borgata) and Atlanta and has played private shows for celebrities including Adrian Brody, Christina Aguilera, Diddy, Magic Johnson and Steven Tyler.
He also provides the music at exclusive parties for corporate clients including Calvin Klein, PlayStation, Prada and Virgin and fashion shows and film premiers around the world.
It all started when he received some turntables for his 14th birthday. In just a couple of years he was headlining at some of the biggest clubs in his native Miami and playing private parties for Diddy in Morocco.
So you’re an adventurer, a club goer, a child of the nightlife, a monster on the dance floor … you know, you love to party.

Borgata Nightlife takes off in May as we get a head start on another Borgata summer in Atlantic City.
Jenny McCarthy, Samantha Ronson, PS1, Rock-it! Scientists, Chrissy Teigen … that’s just a small sample of the special hosts, DJs and events lined up for Borgata clubs Mixx and mur.mur for the month.
Wednesday, May 7, we start with the NJ Bartenders Ball for nightlife and service professionals at Mixx with music by DJ PS1 with Paul Castro.
Then, check out this weekend: PS1 returns to mur.mur Friday and Samantha Ronson spins at mur.mur Saturday. Meanwhile, Playboy model/actress/“View” Host Jenny McCarthy will host a special after-party at Mixx following her “Dirty Sexy Funny” performance at The Music Box May 10.
