Old Homestead Steakhouse
Borgata is pleased to present Savor Borgata: Unmask the Flavor on Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 as an exclusive series of socially distant dining experiences.
The new BorgataEats, which allows guests to order meals from Borgata restaurants, is happy to announce that additional fine dining restaurants at Borgata have joined the roster.
Old Homestead Steakhouse at Borgata is hosting a one-of-a-kind tequila tasting experience that combines Tex-Mex inspired bites with super smooth Casamigos tequila. Old Homestead Restaurateurs Greg and Marc Sherry host this unique dinner featuring Casamigos paired with a four-course dinner prepared by Executive Restaurant Chef Romeo DiBona.
You always knew that there was something special about Borgata‘s Old Homestead Steakhouse. Now, there’s proof. Zagat has named Old Homestead the best steakhouse in New Jersey, proving that the establishment, which has been a staple at Borgata since the casino’s opening in 2003, is a very good thing.
Is there anything more American – and more summer appropriate – than a nice steak dinner? Americans have had a love affair with steak ever since cowboys ran herds of cattle across the prairies to places like Kansas City and St, Louis.
Or at least we’ve had the love affair with beef ever since people started watching movies about cowboys running cattle across the prairies with guys like John Wayne yelling things like “We’re burning daylight.”
We know a lot goes into getting us a prime cut or steak on our tables. And at Borgata, we understand steak like no other place on the East Coast.
The Kentucky Derby is the Super Bowl of American horse racing and this year’s running marks the 142nd year of the Run for the Roses.
And while you can experience all the excitement and action of the “fastest two minutes in sports” at Borgata’s Racebook, keep one thing in mind.
The Kentucky Derby has endured because it is much more than a simple horse race.
The derby exemplifies a sense of style and southern charm that has been preserved down for decades. As much as it’s about 3-year-old thoroughbreds, it’s also about mint juleps and traditional Kentucky cuisine. When they play “My Old Kentucky Home” at Churchill Downs, there’s 142 years of tradition on display.
We know a little about tradition here at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and we know a lot about fine dining – especially at Old Homestead Steakhouse.
And Friday, May 6 – which is also the day the Kentucky Oaks is run – Old Homestead will become my Old Kentucky Homestead by teaming up with Kentucky bourbon distillers Woodford Reserve to present the Woodford Reserve Kentucky Dinner as part of the Savor Borgata Culinary Series.
