Borgata brought Thanksgiving spirit to Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City on Monday, November 23, when they distributed 225 turkeys to the families of students enrolled in the Club.
On Tuesday, November 20th, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa donated $5,000 worth of turkeys and hams to Operation Help, benefiting The Community Food Bank of New Jersey and its 250 partner charities across South Jersey. Borgata’s donation adds up to 132 frozen hams and 100 frozen turkeys.
Let’s face it: Thanksgiving can be a lot of work, especially if you’re the one stuck doing the cooking. Between roasting the turkey, mashing the potatoes, and having to deal with your Great Aunt Susie criticizing your green bean casserole, you might wish someone else could deal with Turkey Day. Well, you’re in luck! Borgata is open on Thanksgiving, and our team of all-star chefs are doing all the hard work for you. All you have to do is show up and be ready to enjoy a unique Thanksgiving feast!
November is the month when turkey takes the center stage in American cuisine. Not only do we have Thanksgiving – affectionately called Turkey Day – we also have a few weeks of turkey recipes to use up the leftovers that follow. And for many families, we do it all again for Christmas and New Year’s meals.
So, in honor of the beloved turkey dinner, the chefs at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s The Metropolitan bistro have launched the Turkey Feast, running from November 7th to 30th.
